Chapter 3 summary of NVC

Now I'm getting into the hard stuff. As if chapter 2 wasn't already hard, I now come to chapter 3 Observing Without Evaluating.  I want to say another area I'm failing in but no it's another area I am aware of wanting to improve in. Thank goodness and just for today.

The first requirement of NVC is a desire to separate our observations from our evaluations. When we combine these two, the person hearing us is apt to hear criticism and resist what we are saying.  I've done and felt it.  NVC encourages observations that are made specific to time and context.
